The original deck used dark, heat-retaining pavers that made summer afternoons unusable. We replaced the surface with cool-touch light travertine, widened the lounge area, and added glass railings so the water view reads uninterrupted from the kitchen. The homeowners now use the space daily instead of just on weekends.
